and what exactly is the point of this? should every object be designed in a foldable version?
May 4, 2009 at 3:28 pm |
this idea is retarded, all the skateboards you’ve designed look retarded and you will make no business or sales. maybe from a couple idiots for a good 2 months. but no more than that. sorry. if you want to know more about skateboarding you should take a look at this website.

Dear Eddie:
after checking out your youtube skate videos of you falling on your ass
to second rate hip-hop I have decided that there are better sites for you to check out like:
PBSboards.wordpress.com

this is seems fairly pointless
and you have aggregator sites like core77, and design blogs reposting it
just a shiny render
on the positive side; obviously some thought as gone into making it foldable. maybe on a more space consuming and nessesary object next time Mr huang?

Hello John,
We have found a site that seems to think like you-
it is not an aggregator site, but this may have been just what you were really looking for:
PBSboards.wordpress.com
thank you!

this is kinda pointless. sure, it does show some good rendering skills. however, the design is not good and NOBODY would want this in it’s current state. it folds up to be even more awkward and less portable!

I feel so bad for you- I hope you will feel better after viewing:
PBSboards.wordpress.com
it seems more like something that would interest you!
enjoy

Railslides/boardslides would be really fun on that board!
May 7, 2009 at 1:05 pm |
why would you need to fold a skateboard.
how can you board slide on that thing.
whats the point.
weak.

lucky for you we have found a website that is more up your alley!
Please check out:

yee-haw!

My decks do this all the time but at least I get to skate them first.
Seriously though, while the novelty of having a foldable skateboard may have intrigued Jin-Seok Hwang, I would suggest that this prototype remain in an AutoCAD form.
Imagining an adult on the cusp of his midlife crisis wearing Vans and Marc Jacobs sunglasses awkwardly pushing through the streets on this is just embarrassing and ridiculous. It’s bad enough we’ve given them scooters to strap to their back and navigate poorly through public places.
I suggest that they ignore the impulse to buy this seemingly convenient albeit heavy object and purchase a game console with a virtual skateboard game. It’s better to have them indoors reliving their childhood fantasies than in the way of the rest of us on the street.

thanks for the feedback. We at NG found it creative and hilarious.
we also feel that you got tricked into visiting our web blog because there is another one that seems way more in your field of interest!
it is called:
PBSboards.wordpress.com

How does it work for the folks that like to do tricks? Will it collapse.

i saw a foldable surfboard once (not a concept, it was real). the idea being that it’s easy to travel with – throw on planes etc. can’t see any practical use for this thing even though the pictures are very nice.

Here is a real foldable skateboard!

i dont think its such a bad idea
August 13, 2009 at 11:12 pm |
instead of trying to make a fold-able skateboard, try figuring out on how to make them totally unbreakable and cheap.
August 14, 2009 at 9:47 am |
Making them unbreakable and cheap would put us out of business- we believe in an accelerated planned obsolesence philosophy: really expensive and basically disposable! Thanks for the request though. We might be able to get the guys at pbsboards.wordpress.com to solve that one
November 23, 2009 at 5:09 pm |
I honestly want to know that price and where i can get one.
